Two days ago, my wife’s iPhone 3G had this problem. Anyone of you encounter this problem where one side or both side of your iPhone headphone does not produce sound when you’re listening to iPod. It only works when you need to twist and hold the headphone connector. Well, today I finally fixed it by using two things that are commonly used, such as the cotton bud and computer cleaning spray. See picture above.

First, you need to turn off your iPhone. Then, cut off half of the head of cotton bud just like shown in the picture. Spray widely towards the cotton bud and slide into the iPhone headjack. Twist it around for few times and you will see all the dust on the cotton bud. Leave your iPhone for 5 to 10 minutes if you use the cleaning spray too much. Plug in your iPhone headphone and it will work perfectly. You will feel that you’re using a new headphone.
